About 10 km from the hotel, Yoichi is home to a whisky distillery and wineries. Fruit picking is also available in season.

A walking path leads to the tip of Cape Kamui, surrounded by clear blue water. Summer is sea urchin season.

Head to the ski resorts in winter. The Niseko area is also popular for hiking in summer.

Head to Shakotan and walk out to Cape Kamui.
Lunchtime
Have sea urchin for lunch in Shakotan.
Afternoon
Visit wineries and the distillery in Yoichi on your way back.
Evening
Return to the hotel for dinner at Restaurant ao (for BBQ instead, be back by 16:00, the last admission time).

Morning
Father and son head to Kiroro, while mother and daughter explore Otaru town center.
Lunchtime
One group hits the slopes, while the other visits the canal and cafes.
